Concord, GA (May 20, 2024) – The Pike County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that 93-year-old Henry Shelnutt lost his life in a motor vehicle accident reported on Saturday morning, May 18.
According to local news sources, Shelnutt was walking on Highway 18 during the morning hours. For unknown reasons, he was struck by a vehicle. Shelnutt, who is from Locust Grove, suffered fatal injuries as a result of the accident. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding authorities.
