Dunn, NC (June 13, 2024) – The North Carolina Highway Patrol confirmed that two people died as a result of a fatal accident that occurred in Dunn on Saturday evening, June 8. The accident was reported to officials at around 9:45 p.m.
Highway Patrol reports indicate that a pickup truck was involved in a collision on Meadowlark Road. Further investigations show that the pickup truck was speeding down the roadway when it collided with a motorcycle. Two people were on the motorcycle at the time of the crash. Both individuals on the motorcycle, identified as 43-year-old Robert Curtis Hair and Chelsea Anne Bowden, were pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
