Charlotte, NC (June 14, 2024) – A fatal accident reported in the Charlotte area on Wednesday morning claimed one person’s life. The accident took place at around 5:30 a.m. on June 12.
Official reports indicate that a black sedan and a silver SUV collided on Interstate 485 during the early morning hours. The impact of the crash sent the sedan off the roadway, where it collided with a wired fence. The SUV went off the opposite side of the roadway and struck a barrier. One person involved in the accident was fatally injured. Two victims were injured in the accident and transported to area hospitals for emergency care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
