Banks Co., GA (June 16, 2024) – A fatal accident reported in Banks County claimed one person’s life. The incident took place at around 3:05 p.m. on June 12.
According to reports, 67-year-old Natalie Ann Longley was driving westbound on Webbs Creek Road in a Ford Escape. As she proceeded through the intersection at Georgia Highway 15, her vehicle collided with a Lexus, which was traveling northbound. The impact of the crash caused the Ford to overturn. The Lexus rotated counterclockwise and came to rest in the median of the roadway. Longley became trapped in her vehicle and was severely injured. She ended up passing away from her injuries after being freed and rushed to Northwest Georgia Medical Center. Three additional victims were injured and transported to area hospitals. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
