Angier, NC (December 14, 2023) – A fatal pedestrian accident reported in downtown Angier claimed one person’s life. The accident was reported to the Angier Police Department at approximately 730 a.m. on December 13.
According to official reports, a 48-year-old man was walking on Raleigh Street, North Carolina Route 55, during the morning hours. For unknown reasons, he was struck by a vehicle near Wimberly Street. The pedestrian was severely hurt in the accident and pronounced deceased as a result of the injuries he suffered. No other injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Investigations are currently ongoing by the Angier Police Department.
