Atlanta, GA (May 28, 2024) – A fatal accident reported in the Atlanta area on Monday claimed one person’s life. Authorities were called to the scene of the accident at around 1:00 a.m., on May 27.
Police reports show that a collision occurred on the northbound side of Interstate 75/Interstate 85. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway near 17th Street for several hours as the Atlanta Police Department remained at the scene with firefighters. Emergency medical services personnel responded to the scene to care for the injured victims. One person was pronounced deceased as a result of their injuries.
