Augusta, GA (April 26, 2024) – A pedestrian died as a result of a fatal accident reported on Wednesday in Augusta. Authorities were called to the scene of the accident at around 9:30 p.m. on April 24.
According to official reports, a female pedestrian was crossing Windsor Spring Road during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, she was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on the roadway. The female was severely hurt in the crash. Despite medical efforts, she was pronounced deceased while at the scene by the Richmond County coroner’s office.
