Beaufort, SC (February 15, 2024) – One person died as a result of an automobile accident that occurred early Wednesday morning in Beaufort. The accident occurred at around 1225 a.m. on February 14.
Official reports provided by the South Carolina Highway Patrol show that a 2012 Ford pickup truck and a 2019 Kawasaki motorcycle collided on Robert Smalls Parkway. The crash prompted authorities to close down the roadway near Goethe Hill Road. Emergency crews remained at the scene extensively while working to clear the road. One person involved in the accident was fatally injured. The victim was pronounced deceased while at the scene. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
