Broadway, NC (January 6, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported late Friday evening in Broadway claimed one person’s life. North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of the accident at approximately 10:30 p.m. on January 5.
Reports from officials out of Harnett County indicate that a crash occurred on Tingen Road during the evening hours. An Acura involved in the accident went off the roadway and struck a tree. The force of the collision caused the vehicle to split in half. Three people in the vehicle were severely harmed. One of the victims died from their injuries. The two other victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency medical treatment. The accident is currently under investigation.
