Burke Co., GA (April 26, 2024) – The Burke County Sheriff’s office confirmed that 27-year-old Trevor James Michael Prevatt of Temple, Georgia, lost his life as a result of a fatal accident reported late Wednesday evening, April 24.
At around 11:00 p.m., a motor vehicle accident occurred in the 500 block of River Road. As a result of the crash, one vehicle went off the roadway and struck a dirt embankment near Maria Vann Road. The impact of the collision caused the vehicle to overturn multiple times before each acting the driver. The driver, identified as Prevatt, sustained fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased by authorities. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
