Carroll Co., GA (July 27, 2024) – Emergency crews were informed that their assistance was needed at the scene of a car crash in Carroll County that claimed one woman’s life. The crash took place at around 4:00 p.m. on July 24.
According to official reports, a white Honda collided with a tractor-trailer on the westbound side of Interstate 20 near the Carrollton Street exit. The driver of the Honda, identified as 20-year-old Brandy Rodgers from Oxford, Alabama, sustained fatal injuries in the crash. She was pronounced deceased by authorities. No other injuries were reported in this accident. At this time, the Georgia State Patrol is investigating to determine what caused the crash.
