Fatal Car Accidents in Georgia
Every day, devastating vehicle collisions are reported in our state that ultimately take the lives of innocent people. Unfortunately, there are countless accidents that are preventable. Reckless actions continue to cause a significant number of vehicle collisions in our state. Leading factors include:
- Drivers who are drunk or high: Operating a vehicle while impaired by alcohol or drugs poses a significant danger to others on the road. Drunk or high drivers have impaired judgment, reaction time, and coordination, leading to an increased risk of accidents.
- Drivers who run red lights: Running red lights is a reckless and dangerous behavior that often leads to accidents. When drivers disregard traffic signals and proceed through intersections without caution, they put themselves and other drivers at serious risk.
- Drivers who are reckless: Reckless driving, such as tailgating, weaving in and out of traffic, or ignoring traffic signals, significantly increases the likelihood of accidents. Reckless drivers disregard the safety of others, putting everyone at risk.
