Clinton, SC (March 4, 2024) – A pedestrian died as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Lawrence County on Saturday, March 2. The police and area firefighters responded to the scene of the accident at approximately 8:10 p.m.
According to law enforcement reports, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the area of West Main Street in North Bell Street. Authorities rushed to the scene and located the pedestrian, identified as 71-year-old Arthur Lee Davis, with severe injuries. He was flown to Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he died from his injuries. At this time, the accident is being investigated.
