Columbia, GA (February 10, 2024) – The Columbia County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that 44-year-old David Brady lost his life as a result of a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred on Thursday, February 8.
At approximately 5:00 p.m., Brady was driving a motorcycle West on Columbia Road. For unknown reasons, a vehicle was making a left turn into the Regions Bank parking lot, located near Merchants Village, when it struck the motorcycle. Mr. Brady was ejected from his motorbike. He landed on the westbound lane of the roadway when he was struck by another vehicle. Brady was severely hurt in the crash. Despite medical efforts, the victim passed away from his injuries. No other injuries were reported. The accident is currently being investigated.
