DeKalb Co., GA (February 20, 2024) – A motorcyclist lost their life as a result of a fatal collision that occurred in the cold County on Sunday afternoon, February 18. The crash was reported to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office at approximately 2:20 p.m.
Crash reports indicate that a motorcycle and a car collided on the eastbound side of Interstate 285. Authorities arrived at the scene and closed down the roadway just before Interstate 85 while working to clear the area. The motorcyclist was ejected from their vehicle, resulting in fatal injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased on site. No other injuries were reported. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
