Fairfield Co., SC (November 2, 2023) – Two people have died as a result of an automobile accident that occurred in Fairfield County on Tuesday evening, October 31.
At around 11:20 p.m., the South Carolina Highway Patrol was notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of a major crash on South Carolina Highway 215.
According to law enforcement, a 2003 Chevrolet sedan was heading north on the highway when it became involved in a crash. The impact of the crash sent the vehicle off the side of the roadway, where it overturned and collided with a tree.
25-year-old Jacquivs Robinson and 24-year-old Chrishonda Boyd both sustained fatal injuries in the crash and were pronounced dead on site by the Fairfield County coroner.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
