Forsythe Co., GA (February 18, 2024) – A motorcycle accident reported in Forsyth County on February 15 claimed one person’s life. The accident occurred at approximately 2:40 p.m. According to local law enforcement reports, 23-year-old Peyton Kirby of Cumming, Georgia, was riding a motorcycle on Bethelview Road near Old Town Lane.
As he proceeded through the intersection, the driver of a 2022 Genesis failed to stop at the intersection. As a result, the vehicle crashed into the motorcycle. Kirby suffered fatal injuries due to the crash. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. News sources say that failing to yield at the intersection is a main factor in the collision. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
