Galivants Ferry, SC (April 28, 2024) – A fatal motor vehicle accident reported in the Galivants Ferry area claimed one person’s life. The incident occurred at around 9:00 p.m. on April 25.
According to official reports, a 1995 Oldsmobile was heading westbound on Ridge Road. For reasons unknown, it collided with a 2008 GMC van, which was traveling eastbound on the roadway. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the involved vehicles blocking Ridge Road near Turner Road. The intersection was immediately shut down as authorities assisted. Four people involved in the crash were injured. All four victims were transported to area hospitals for medical care. Authorities confirmed that one of the victims passed away after arriving. The victim was later identified as 30-year-old Reanna Todd. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
