Greensboro, NC (March 6, 2024) – The Greensboro Police Department confirmed that Robin Lynn Cochran of Greensboro, North Carolina, lost her life as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Monday morning, March 4. The incident occurred at 11:34 a.m., prompting authorities to respond to the scene.
According to local news sources, Cochran was pushing a shopping cart across East Wendover Avenue near the intersection of Summit Avenue during late morning hours. As she proceeded across the roadway, she was struck by a vehicle that was traveling west on East Wendover Avenue. Cochran was severely hurt due to the accident. Despite medical efforts, she was pronounced deceased while at the scene. At this time, the police are investigating the collision.
