Greenville Co., SC (July 14, 2024) – Authorities have confirmed that a 91-year-old lost her life as a result of a fatal accident in Greenville County. The collision took place at around 2:55 p.m. on July 8.
Official reports show that a 2022 Dodge pickup truck was heading southbound on South Carolina Highway 183, Fars Bridge Road. At the same time, a 2013 Chrysler sedan was traveling westbound on Sulphur Springs Road. As the vehicles entered the intersection, they collided. Both of the drivers involved in the accident were injured. The two victims were transported to area hospitals. The driver of the Chrysler later passed away from their injuries on Friday, July 12. Authorities have identified the victim as 91-year-old George Russell Coote. Investigations into the accident are underway.
