Greer, SC (February 9, 2024) – A fatal pedestrian accident reported in Greenville County on Thursday afternoon claimed one man’s life. The incident occurred at around 12:10 p.m.
According to law enforcement reports, a male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Brushy Creek Road. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway near the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Emergency officials remained at the scene for a significant amount of time as they worked to investigate and clear the road. The pedestrian, who has not been publicly identified, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased by authorities. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
