Guildford Co., NC (May 25, 2024) – A fatal rollover accident reported on Monday in Greensboro claimed one person’s life while leaving a second victim severely injured. The collision occurred at around 10:15 a.m. on May 20.
According to reports, a red 1998 Ford Explorer was heading westbound on Interstate 40 during the morning hours. For reasons unknown, the vehicle collided with a white 2022 Toyota Tacoma near North Carolina 68. One person involved in the accident, identified as 47-year-old Crystal Galvan, was fatally injured in the crash. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. 70-year-old Lee Forbes Jr. was severely hurt in the crash. He was flown by helicopter to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital for emergency care. The driver of the Toyota was treated at the scene for minor injuries. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
