Gwinnett Co., GA (July 15, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Gwinnett County on Sunday claimed one person’s life. At around 2:00 p.m. on July 14, the police and firefighters were called to the scene of an automobile accident that occurred on Interstate 85.
Official reports indicate that a major motor vehicle collision involving multiple cars took place on Interstate 85 just north of Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road. The impact of the crash caused at least one vehicle to overturn and come to rest on the shoulder of the roadway. One person involved in the collision was fatally injured. An unknown number of people were injured as a result of the collision. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
