Hardeeville, SC (February 7, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident in Jasper County claimed the lives of multiple people on Monday evening, February 5. The South Carolina Highway Patrol was informed of the collision at approximately 6:35 p.m.
According to reports, a Hyundai SUV was involved in a collision with a Toyota sedan on Bellinger Hill Road at the intersection of Chalmers Road. Three people in the Toyota sustained fatal injuries and were all pronounced deceased at the scene. One additional passenger in the vehicle and the driver were both transported to Savannah Memorial Hospital for emergency care. The driver of the Hyundai was also transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. At this time, the incident is being investigated by Highway Patrol.
