Lancaster, SC (July 6, 2024) – A 78-year-old female lost her life as a result of a fatal accident that occurred on Friday morning, July 5. The South Carolina Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene at around 9:45 a.m.
Official reports indicate that a Nissan SUV and a Honda sedan were both traveling in opposite directions on South Carolina Highway 9, Pageland Highway. For unknown reasons, the two vehicles collided near Eastway Drive. The driver of the Honda, identified as 78-year-old Judy Stacks, was severely hurt in the crash. She was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene. Two people in the Nissan were injured and transported to area hospitals for emergency care. The accident is under investigation at this time.
