Liberty Co., GA (November 6, 2023) – A fatal collision reported in Liberty County on Saturday evening claimed one person’s life. The crash was reported at around 5:00 p.m. on November 4.
According to reports provided by the Georgia State Patrol, a GMC pickup truck was involved in a collision on the southbound side of Interstate 95. As a result of the incident, the vehicle went off the side of the roadway near exit 76. The pickup truck rolled over multiple times before coming to rest.
Two people sustained severe injuries in this crash. One person was transported to an area hospital for emergency care. A second victim was pronounced deceased from their injuries.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
