Macon, GA (December 18, 2023) – A 25-year-old man from Macon, Georgia, lost his life as a result of an automobile accident that occurred on Sunday morning in Bibb County. The accident was reported to officials at around 2:30 a.m. on December 17.
According to reports from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, a collision took place on Interstate 75. As a result of the crash, a Toyota Camry involved in the collision went off the southbound side of the roadway near Mercer University Drive. The vehicle collided with a guard rail, ejecting the driver. The victim, identified as 25-year-old Tyree Harris, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
