Macon, GA (April 20, 2024) – The Georgia State Patrol confirmed that 39-year-old Stephen Perry Croft II lost his life as a result of a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred on Friday afternoon, April 19. The incident took place just after 12:00 p.m. on Interstate 475.
Reports from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office indicate that Croft was involved in a collision on Interstate 475, which blocked multiple lanes of the roadway and scattered debris along the road near Zebulon Road. Three additional vehicles were damaged in the accident. Croft was severely hurt as a result of the accident. He was transported to Atrium Navicent Health, where he passed away from his injuries. No other injuries were reported. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
