Pelion, SC (October 24, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident reported near Pelion claimed the life of a driver on Sunday afternoon, October 22.
At around 2:00 p.m., the Pelion Police Department responded to the scene of an automobile accident that occurred on Main Street.
According to reports, a collision occurred on Main Street in the area near Pelion Road. The incident prompted authorities to shut down the roadway while providing assistance.
One person sustained fatal injuries due to this automobile collision. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
