Pickens Co., SC (January 17, 2024) – A motorcycle accident reported in Pickens County on Tuesday evening claimed one person’s life. The Pickens County coroner’s office confirmed that the accident occurred at around four p.m. on January 16.
Law enforcement reports indicate that a motorcycle was involved in a collision on Highway 93 near Highway 76. The two involved vehicles came to rest in the center of the roadway, causing severe delays in the area. One person involved in the accident sustained fatal injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
