Rock Hill, SC (July 27, 2024) – A 15-year-old teen lost her life as a result of a head-on collision that occurred in Rock Hill on Thursday evening, July 25.
At around 10:05 p.m., the Rock Hill Police Department was summoned to the scene of a car crash on Laurel Creek Drive. Reports show that a golf cart and a Honda CRV collided head-on. The impact of the collision caused the golf cart to overturn with four people inside. A 15-year-old female involved in the crash was pronounced deceased at the scene. Three additional victims were transported to Piedmont Medical Center for emergency care. The police report shows that the Honda was traveling south in the wrong lane of travel at the time of the crash. The incident is being investigated.
