Spalding Co., GA (April 8, 2024) – An 11-year-old girl died as a result of a house fire that occurred on Saturday evening in Spalding County. On April 6, emergency officials were called to the scene of a structure fire that occurred on Sydney Drive.
According to official reports, a home on the roadway caught on fire during the evening hours. Firefighters rushed to the scene and immediately began battling the blaze. An 11-year-old child was severely injured in the fire. She was transported to an area hospital, where she later passed away from her injuries.
