Travelers Rest, SC (November 27, 2023) – A pedestrian accident reported in the Travelers Rest area claimed one person’s life. The accident occurred during the evening hours on Saturday, November 25.
According to official reports, two pedestrians were walking near the Travelers Rest High School, which is located in the 600 block of North Main Street. For unknown reasons, a car traveling through the area struck the pedestrians.
One of the victims sustained severe injuries in the crash. The victim was pronounced deceased while at the scene. The second victim was rushed to an area hospital for emergency medical treatment. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
