Ware Shoals, SC (October 29, 2023) – On Saturday morning, emergency officials were called to the scene of a fatal accident that occurred in Lawrence County. The accident took place just after 4:50 a.m. on October 28.
Law enforcement reports indicate that a man was struck by a vehicle on Highway 25 near Business 25. The man suffered fatal injuries. The victim, identified as 22-year-old Michael Vickery of Gray Court, South Carolina, was pronounced dead on site.
The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the crash.
