Washington Co., GA (December 8, 2023) – One person lost their life as a result of a fatal fire incident that took place in Washington County. The incident was reported just before 5:00 a.m.
According to reports provided by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, an apartment fire occurred during the early morning hours on Middle Hill Road. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the structure fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters went to work quickly to battle the blaze. It took firefighters nearly 2 hours to take the incident under control.
A total of three apartments were entirely destroyed as a result of the fire. Authorities confirmed that one person suffered fatal injuries in the incident and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim was identified as 42-year-old Temorie Hill of Spartak, Georgia. At this time, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
