Wilson Co., NC (December 23, 2023) – A motor vehicle collision reported early Friday morning in Wilson County claimed one person’s life. The accident was reported to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol at approximately three a.m. on December 22.
Reports provided by NCSHP indicate that a vehicle collision occurred on Interstate 95 in the area near Exit 121. The impact of the crash resulted in one vehicle to striking a tree and bursting into flames. One person involved in the crash incurred fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased by authorities. The crash is currently under investigation.
