Georgetown Co., SC (December 25, 2023) – One person lost their life following an automobile accident that took place early Saturday morning in Georgetown County. Just after midnight on December 23, the South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on Cane Bay Road.
Authorities reported that two vehicles were involved in a collision on the roadway near South Carolina Highway 261. A southbound vehicle involved in the crash collided with the ditch before striking a tree. One person involved in the accident, identified as 24-year-old Tyesha Williams, was fatally injured in the crash. She was pronounced deceased as a result of her injuries. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
