Charlotte, NC (January 14, 2024) – The Charlotte Police Department confirmed that 33-year-old Samantha Lasha Brayboy lost her life as a result of an automobile accident that took place during the evening hours on Wednesday, January 10. The accident occurred at approximately 11:45 p.m.
According to official reports, Brayboy was driving on Brookshire Boulevard when her Infiniti EX35 collided with a flatbed wrecker near Interstate 85 on the northwest side of Charlotte. Brayboy suffered severe injuries due to the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding officers. The accident is currently under investigation.
