Greenville, SC (April 3, 2024) – A pedestrian accident reported on Monday evening in Greenville County claimed one person’s life. The incident occurred at around 9:20 p.m. on April 1.
According to reports from the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a vehicle was traveling westbound on US Highway 276 during the evening hours. At the same time, a pedestrian was crossing in the vicinity of US Highway 276 and Hammett Street. For reasons unknown, the vehicle struck the pedestrian, causing severe injuries. Despite medical efforts, the pedestrian died from their injuries while at the scene. No other injuries were reported. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
