Barnwell Co., SC (February 21, 2024) – On Tuesday, emergency officials were called to the scene of a fatal collision that occurred in Barnwell County. The accident was reported to authorities at approximately 11:30 a.m. on February 20.
According to authorities, a vehicle was traveling east on Poplar Road. As the car attempted to cross over South Carolina Highway 3, it collided with a second vehicle at the intersection. Emergency officials responded to the scene and located one person with fatal injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
