Fulton, GA (January 18, 2024) – One person died as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in South Fulton on Thursday afternoon, January 18. The South Fulton Police Department was called to the scene of the accident at around 3:00 p.m.
According to reports, two vehicles collided on Interstate 85, blocking multiple lanes in the area near the Interstate 285 interchange. One person was fatally hurt in the crash. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. One additional victim was injured and transported to an area hospital for emergency care. The South Fulton Police Department’s traffic unit is currently investigating the incident.
