Fatal Auto Accidents in South Carolina
Every year, over a thousand people lose their lives on our roads due to traffic accidents. A significant number of these incidents are caused by the careless actions of other drivers, with common reasons including:
- Ignoring stop signs, which often leads to collisions at intersections. These crashes can cause vehicles to roll over, leading to severe injuries or even fatalities.
- Vehicle malfunctions, such as tire blowouts, brake failures, or stuck accelerators, can cause serious accidents.
- Wrong-way driving increases the risk of head-on collisions, especially when vehicles are moving fast, raising the likelihood of fatal outcomes.
- Street racing can lead to drivers being unable to stop in time to avoid a crash, and it also makes it more likely for a driver to lose control of their vehicle.
