Greenwood Co., SC (December 10, 2023) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an automobile accident early Saturday morning that resulted in fatal injuries. The accident occurred at around 12:50 a.m. on December 9.
According to official reports, a Dodge Ram pickup truck and a Jeep were both traveling westbound on US Highway 25. At the same time, a Lincoln was traveling southbound on Laurel Avenue. As the vehicles proceeded through the intersection, they collided. The driver of the pickup truck was transported to an area hospital for emergency care. The driver of the Lincoln was also injured. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where they later passed away from their injuries. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
