Athens, GA (November 18, 2023) – A man lost his life as a result of an automobile accident that took place in Athens. The crash was reported at around 2:45 p.m. on November 13. The accident occurred on Danielsville Road.
According to reports provided by authorities, 28-year-old Christopher Fleming of Hull, Georgia, was traveling north on Danielsville Road in the 2008 Crown Victoria. For unknown reasons, his vehicle collided with a 2022 Ford Edge near Harve Mathis Road. Fleming and the driver of the Ford, a 48-year-old woman from Tennessee, were both transported to area hospitals. Authorities confirmed that Fleming passed away from his injuries.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
