Atlanta, GA (January 24, 2024) – The Atlanta Police Department confirmed that a 32-year-old man was fatally struck by a vehicle early Wednesday morning, January 24. The accident took place at approximately 530 a.m.
According to official reports, a male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 75/85 in the area just before University Avenue. The involved vehicle, a Ford Explorer, remained at the scene. The pedestrian was struck on the southbound side of the roadway and landed on the northbound side of the road. He was then struck by a motor coach bus. The police arrived at the scene and secured the area. Medics responded to treat the injured victim. However, he passed away from his injuries while at the scene. The victim was identified as Mychall Trice. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
