Atlanta, GA (March 26, 2024) – One person has lost their life as a result of a fatal accident that occurred early Sunday morning in Atlanta. The incident was reported to the Atlanta Police Department at around 330 a.m. on March 24.
According to reports, a black SUV and a red sedan collided on Interstate 20, blocking multiple westbound lanes. Authorities arrived at the scene and closed down the roadway near Maynard Terrace Southeast. Emergency officials immediately went to work on providing care to victims at the scene. One victim was transported to an area hospital for emergency treatment. A second victim was fatally injured and pronounced deceased at the scene by authorities. At this time, investigations are underway.
