Depending on the circumstances surrounding the death of your loved one, your family may have the ability to initiate a legal claim for compensation against the responsible party.

In wrongful death cases, common forms of economic and non-economic damages sought by families are:

  • The loss of income: This refers to the financial support that the deceased would have provided to the surviving family members, including retirement benefits and other forms of financial assistance.
