Charlotte, NC (April 6, 2024) – A pedestrian lost their life as a result of the fatal collision that occurred in the Charlotte area on Thursday morning, April 4. The accident was reported to officials at around 4:30 a.m.
According to official reports, 42-year-old David Michael House was struck by a vehicle on Jake Alexander Boulevard during the early morning hours. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the man on the roadway near a Speedway gas station. Despite medical efforts provided to the victim by the Rowan County EMS, House was pronounced deceased while at the scene. At this time, the Salisbury Police Department is investigating.
