Cleveland, SC (June 3, 2024) – A fatal accident reported in Cleveland claimed one person’s life on Saturday morning, June 1. Emergency officials in Greenville County were requested at the scene at around 8:00 a.m.
Reports show that a man was riding a paraglider in the area when he crashed in the woods near North River Road. EMS, firefighters, and law enforcement responded to the scene to provide assistance. Authorities immediately went to work on searching for the victim. At around 11:30 a.m., the man was located. The paraglider was fatally injured as a result of the accident and pronounced deceased by authorities. The Greenville County coroner’s office has identified the victim as Jack Daryl Anders.
