Colquitt Co., GA (November 25, 2023) – A fatal collision reported in Colquitt County claimed multiple lives on Thursday afternoon, November 23. The crash was reported by the Georgia Highway Patrol at around 3:00 p.m.
According to official reports, a head-on collision occurred on Georgia Highway 111. The incident prompted authorities to close the roadway near Bay Rockyford Road. Multiple law enforcement officers were requested at the scene to provide assistance. Authorities confirmed that one person was airlifted to a regional trauma center for emergency care. Five people were fatally injured and pronounced deceased by the Colquitt County Coroner’s Officer. The crash is currently being investigated.
